Bangon Pilipinas Party is running on a platform based on a vision of a prosperous, progressive, and peaceful Philippines.


In terms of specific program, Bangon Pilipinas Party believes these Seven E’s will help bring it about:

Empowerment of the people—by making sure every vote counts and is counted, that the people have equal access to justice and jobs;

Emancipation of the people’s mind and culture, that we have to leave behind us the perspective of individualism but rather nurture and imbibe the perspective of thinking as a nation;

Educating the people in a quality and progressive way by overhauling the educational system and reviewing all teaching materials to gain more focus on Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, and English, that teachers will be restored to their rightful places as enablers by ensuring competitiveness in their compensation;

Energizing the economy by prioritizing public works projects in favor of infrastructures and social services – that is, we build the foundation of a strong and sustainable economy while ensuring that no one is hungry and without job;

Elevating the standards of living of all Filipinos, that a minimum level of social services shall be accessible to all including lighted streets, regular collection of garbage, decent housing, integrated transport services, reliable postal service, etc.;

Eradicating bad governance, that public service should truly be a public trust and that no one who enriched himself in public office shall not go unpunished;

And finally, establishing peace and order all over the land, that the Philippine Republic cannot be divided and that this nation should be supported by strong air, sea, and land defenses to strengthen its sovereignty and gain international respectability.

7 Reasons Why Vote for Bro.Eddie

Ever heard of "Righteousness exalts a nation"? Okay, I admit it, I'm not that of legal age to vote, but I think in my young age, I can influence at least one, who will vote for my presidentiable.

1. He's truly a child of God. A Christian. He was able to unite Muslims and Christians, 7th day Adventists, Iglesia ni Cristo, even the MILF and MNLF in Mindanao.

2. A former activist from the Philippine College of Commerce (Polytechnic University of the Philippines today)  He was able to experience what it feels to fight for democratic rights when he was young.

3. If you think Bro. Eddie doesn't know anything about politics, think again dear friend. He was a professor before and taught Economics and Finance in PCC, and studied Law in UP.

4.A true Filipino. He loves the Philippines.

5.Didn't spent a big amount of money on ads. An estimate of 300 people (acc. to Jessica Soho Reports) participated and volunteered.

6.He was able to give wise answers in the Presidential Forum in GMA 7.

7.Possesses a good platform.

Diaries

Getting bored here. Just to share some of my insights to you about diaries and blogs.

I, myself, is a diarist.

Diaries totally rocks my sox. Keeping one totally helps me write down my thoughts and things that I needed to do. Your life is written on it. The fun part for me is that, when I get old - at least I have the chance to read and recall all the precious memories I had when I was in my younger years.


Some people who I can associate with diaries.

There's Anne Frank diary, which became a classic novel. Set up during the World War II, this diary truly reflects her life, as how she experienced discrimination as a Jew (Back then, Jews have to wear something like a star) to concentration camps. It was because of her diary that I was inspired to study World War II. Good thing, Otto Frank published her diary, or else I won't get the chance to read her love life (joke); I mean how life was difficult back then under the rule of Adolf Hitler.

How about considering the diary of Dr. Jose Rizal? Boy, I'm so proud of being a Filipino.

Because he always writes, he was able to have lots of diaries - volumes of them. Maybe that's why his biography and experiences were rich compared to other biographies of some Filipino heroes. I don't know anything about his diaries, but I get a feeling that his feelings, emotions, and knowledgeable thoughts are written on those pages.

  How about this diary? The diary of a princess.. Too complicated for me to explain. It will be much better to watch the movie and/or read the books written by Meg Cabot.

BACK TO ME
I started keeping one when my bestfriend gave me a diary with a lock. I saw her one writing in one when we were in Grade 2, and attempted to read what she was writing. Unfortunately, she caught me.

I know she loves me, that's why she gave me one of her unused diaries. Awww.

I went on hiatus then, and returned when I was in Grade 5. But it wasn't that serious. A couple of years later, still in the habit in writing one - becoming more serious as every year passes by.

Right now, I don't possess a diary anymore. I have a prayer journal, in which I talk to God using my notebooks. Instead of Dear Diary, it's now, Dear Yeshuah/Jesus or any name that I can associate with Him. It made me feel more personal.

Thank God for the ideas. I have a list of what I wanted to sell in this bloggie. I just finished searching; and currently inspired to look for some more.

Unfortunate Day

Today is our "Graduation and Recognition Day". I am so excited and nervous because I get to have an award and be recognized on stage. Nervous because I am the emcee or the host of the program. I have a partner and he is a boy. He's name is Allen dela Cruz.

We started the program at around 2:00 in the afternoon and we ended at 5:00 PM. When it is the time to give the certificates to the graduates, I was expecting that my bestfriend's brother would come. But there is unfortunate news. My bestfriend's brother could not come because an accident occured.

You see the brother of my bestfrind lives in a condominium. Her mother just came here in the Philippines. When my bestfriend's brother heard that his mother is waiting for him downstairs. He ran into the stairs and accidentally fall, bumping his head and lost a lot of blood in the brain.

All of the audience in the program went crying because my bestfriend's brother wanted to graduate. But, he didn't get the certificate because he just passed away . The brother of my bestfriend is called RJ. RJ passed away yesterday. This was also became an article in the newspaper.

Going to Divisoria

Here in the Philippines, there is a place called Divisoria. It is a place where you can buy items and products which are cheap. There are a lot of Filipino selling there. But, Divisoria is so messy. There are a lot of messes in the floor. Some of it are clean. We went to Tutuban, a place that long ago was a train station. But now it is a mall. There are some parts of Tutuban that are well preserved. It is very difficult to go to Divisoria. You need to ride a train going to Recto, then you need to ride a jeepney. Well, I that's all. Bye!

Business Tripping

Okay, so far, I was quite inspired to become an entrepreneur. What made me inspired?

There was this speaker from 702 DZAS who inspired me to be one. He's in his 60s and sells products from local fruits and vegetables. Too bad I forgot his name, but his voice - nah uh.

Another one was this Cebuana user from www.swapbot.com who also have a blog in the Internet where she sells her stuff. Apparently, I find that like her technique in selling such things.

January 1, 2010 - the day I started to plan for my business. I told my father that I wanted to start an online business when I get 18 years old (so that I can use ebay and other sites). He told me to start now.

And right now, I'm stuck in this pc in front of me, coupled with a Green Apple notebook on my lap... brainstorming for ideas.

I think I want to sell stickers, bookmarks, stationery, posters, and more online. The only problem is the shipping. Somehow I find it expensive. I'm somehow clueless on how to start. Maybe I need more ideas.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Carl Ocab - a 16 year old kid who earned cash through the Internet writing blogs. Oh, how I envy him. Well, it's not too late to start. At least right now, I know where I'm going.

I bet this is going to be tough and challenging, that I might be on hiatus the following months.

Pierced Ears

Then he will be his servant for life. -Exodus 21:6-

John Carvalho goes to a pretty conservative church, so the sight of men wearing earrings still causes raised eyebrows. So you can imagine their surprise when he chairman of their board of deacons showed up at a church meeting wearing one. (It was all a joke; the earring was held on with a magnet.)

In Moses' time, a pierced ear was not used to make a fashion statement. Instead, it showed a slave's devoted love for a kind master.

In Exodus 21, it tells us that according to God's law, all slave owners were to free their slaves every seventh year. But if a slave loved his master, he would have his ear pierced at his master's doorpost. This demonstrated that the slave was making a lifetime commitment to his master.

The apostle Paul urged us to make the same kind of commitment to the Lord. In fact, Paul often referred to himself as Christ's servant (Romans 1:1; Philippians 1;1), signifying the same slavery by choice.

In one sense, God offers us our freedom every day. We are free either to serve Him or to serve our own selfish desires. The challenge is for us to present our bodies to Him as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1), not desiring selfish freedom but willingly following God.

No, you don't have to go out and pierce your ear to show your loyalty to Christ. Instead, let your life show everyone around you that you are God's servant to life-because He redeemed you through Jesus Christ and because you want to serve Him.

Children of The King

We are God's children. -Romans 8:16-


For many British subjects, the royal family is no longer a symbol of national pride but a royal embarrassment!

Granted, the rabid British tabloid newspapers focus a hostile spotlight on them. At such close range, it singes the inhabitants of the House of Windsor. Even so, the flood of negative press-from Fergie's sunbathing to Prince Charles' strange phone conversations-has Britons wondering: Why can't the royal family act a bit more, uh, regal?

It's a tough but true principle: With royal benefits come royal responsibilities and public accountabilities. The same principle holds true for those of us who are members of god's royal family.

As today's passage reminds us, becasue we have put our faith in Christ, we are children of God. And because we are children of the King, we are joint-heirs with Jesus (Rom. 8:17). One of our responsibilities as god's children is to exhibit a lifestyle compatible with our royal heritage (Col. 1:10-14).

Mere humans would collapse under the weight of such lofty expectations (as our British royal friends demonstrate). But God has taken care of that for us by graciously giving us His Holy Spirit. In the Spirit's power we can live a life that pleases God (Rom. 8:13-14).

If we try to live as God's royal family in our own strength, it's not going to happen (v.8). God has set us free from this cycle of failure. Far from condemning our inability, God instead gives us His Spirit to help us.

I wouldn't pretend to judge the British royal family. I'm just glad (speaking as one heir to another) that I don't have to function under that kind of pressure!

Getting Happy

Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous.
Psalm 32:11

Do you know anyone who's afraid of being too happy? For instance, if you were talking with some non-Christian friends, would any of them say that they just couldn't put their trust in Jesus because it might give them too much joy?

Just the opposite would be true, don't you think? Your energetic, go-for-it friends would probably say that following Jesus would make them less happy. They'd be afraid they'd have to give up all the stuff that makes life fun.

Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade, said that before he put his faith in Christ, he was a "happy pagan." He thought he was perfectly happy as a non-Christian because he had lots of money and a great job. He says now, though, that he didn't really find out what happiness is all about until he accepted Jesus.

This whole idea should challenge us as believers. Do we show by our attitudes and actions that we are happier, more content, and generally better off than our non-Christian friends? Is there any indication that the forgiveness we enjoy as Christians helps us to "be glad," as David talked about in Psalm 32?

Your friends and fellow students try to get happy in so many ways. Some turn to alcohol, only to suffer the consequences. Some turn to sex and then have to worry about the physical and psychological fallout for the rest of their lives. Others look for it in fast cars or drugs or taking every dare that comes along.

Why not show your non-Christian friends that true happiness and lasting joy come through forgiveness from sin, not indulgence in it. Let them know about "the Lord's unfailing love" (Ps. 32:10). That's what getting happy is all about.

Quick Quiz: What sings with high- and low-pitch groanings and changes tunes all the time?

Answer: If you guessed c, you're correct. (But, I've never heard your roommate.)

The humpback whale has one of the strangest songs in nature. It makes weird sound combinations, varying its song all the time. These giants of the deep continually create new sound patterns and drop old ones, in effect singing a new song.

This makes me think of followers of Christ. We should be composing new songs all the time-songs of praise for the fresh mercies of God. As we grow in Christ and have new experiences serving Him, our praise song will change.

Unfortunately, many of can't sing new songs because we are not maturing or having anything new or exciting happening in our relationship with Christ. We're singing the same old song because we're in the same old rut.

The psalm writer said, however, that God keeps on working many wonderful things in the lives of His people, and that each one gives us a new reason to express His praise. (Ps. 40:5)

How about our song? Are we still singing the same tune we did last year? Two years ago? If so, we need a fresh experience of the mercies of the cross and the power of Christ's resurrection(Phil. 3:10). And that comes only through growth and accepting new opportunities to serve Him.

The gospel story never changes. Thank God that it doesn't! But as growing, serving Christians entering a new year, our songs of praise should never end. - Mart De Haan

Decisions!Decisions!

Life is full of decisions! What am I going to wear today? What will I have for breakfast? Should I ride my bike to class or whole day.

Researchers tell us that we make between 300 and 1500 decisions everyday. Sure most of these choices are fairly inconsequential, such as where to sit in the cafeteria or what color shirt to wear, but add all these choices up and you could get a headache.

And then there are The Big Ones. Like: what major to declare. Whether or not to stay out of school a year and work, or should I make a commitment to this budding relationship with the person I'm dating?

For some help with The Big Ones, here are six wise choice-making steps. They will not always guarantee the right decision, but they w9ll help you avoid costly mistakes.

1. Define the problem.
2. Gather all necessary facts.
3. List the options.
4. Consider the consequences.
5. Identify and order the values
6. Make the decision

There's one other important factor that must not be left out: Include God in each decision.

that's what James was saying in today's Scripture. When you make important decisions, consider the Lord. Saying, "If it is the Lord's will,"means that you acknowledge His presence and power in everything that happens.

Got a big decision ahead of you? Follow wise , time-tested decision-making procedures. And above all, be sure to include the Lord. -Dave Egner-

The 500 Pieces of the Puzzle

I got this 500 pieces puzzle from a contest that I have one in the Internet a year ago. It is The Da Vinci Code. Click here if you want to view the picture. Since I have nothing to do that much this summer, I decided that I will finish the puzzle by myself. At first, I was difficulties all by myself. It was really hard especially in the face. The black pieces were too a troublesome.

I finished 1/5 of the puzzle, forgetting the chores that I needed to do. My father got mad at me. He really wanted to destroy my puzzle so that I could start doing the chores. For me, I was quite emotionless. "That's only a fifth. It's no biggie. It doesn't even matter to me" I said in my mind. After finishing the chores, I noticed that the puzzle were not entirely ruined. I was glad. But there were missing pieces. Quickly, I searched around the floor looking for the pieces. A missing piece would be really a downturner. I wouldn't be satisfied if there's something missing. Luckily, my little brother was there to help me.

Day after day, I would spent my hours solving the puzzle. My primary reason is to save energy. I don't want to use any other appliance that would entertain me that would require energy. I diverted myself not to use the computer or the television and it was a success.

After finishing the entire puzzle, blood rushed into my veins." I completed it", thought to myself. I finished it! Just then I realize that there was a secret message in the puzzle. You would only be able to read the message once you finished it. And the message was "SO DARK THE CON OF MAN". It glows in the dark! I was really amazed by that.

I will later frame that puzzle so that I will be able to appreciate my effort I have put up unto it and be proud of myself.

Just then I realized while I'm typing this, what if, I just imagined. We, the people are the puzzle pieces, and the one who puts us into the proper place is Jesus. Whenever there are missing pieces, He wouldn't allow one to go missing. If ever there will be a missing piece, He will eventually search for it. And once all the pieces are connected all together, He will be happy to see that we, all are united in one love.

How good it is that we have a God who cares for us.
